The Tasmanian Greens today welcomed the news that the number of full times jobs in Tasmania grew in last four months.

“It’s good to hear more positive job numbers; it shows that Tasmania’s economic transition underpinned by the forest peace deal is working,” said Mr. McKim

“This encouraging news comes despite the fact the Liberals have consistently talked down business confidence.”

“With unemployment down significantly today, it’s clear that business confidence has been boosted by a community in harmony.”

“The Liberal’s plan to return to the dark days of conflict and division is the biggest threat to job creation in Tasmania.”
