Blue Tier celebration

Please come along and help us celebrate 10 years since our arrest on the slopes of the Blue Tier, campaigning against the ongoing clearfell logging of the Groom River water catchment and lobbying for protection of the Northeast Highlands:

Since the Tasmanian Forest Agreement negotiations this area has been under interim protection from logging, it has been a peaceful 3 years on the Tier with not one log truck entering or leaving the area….lets keep it that way!
• 1-2 pm > cuppa and cake on arrival
• 2 pm > Gloria Andrews – welcome to country, opening speech, open microphone for short stories and memories of the Blue Tier campaign
• 5 pm > bbq (bring your own please…we’ll have the fire pots going!)
• 6pm > slide show and party!
