Nepotism claims at the government’s north-west health organisation
There are claims of nepotism at the senior level of Tasmania’s Health Department.
Health Department staff have made allegations relating to the north-west health organisation.
They have told the ABC one senior staff member created a new position for his wife where she reported directly to him.
In another case it is alleged a staff member prevented his son from being sacked for incompetence.
The claims were recently referred to the Integrity Commission, which is refusing to say it is investigating the allegations.
