Meet Alan Gogoll, Tasmanian Times’ Falls’ Foster Band

Posted on

… Kindly vote for him … !x

The Falls Music & Arts Festival Foster Band Initiative returns for the third year in 2013 to uncover more talented Tasmanian musicians.

For the past two years our Tasmanian media friends have hand-picked the cream of the musical crop from their State. Once again they will spend October shining a light on the act of their choice and convincing you that their band deserves your vote. The prize is monumental – winners will join the Falls 2013 Falls line up along side the likes of The Roots, The Violent Femmes, London Grammar, Neil Finn, MGMT, Vampire Weekend and many more!

Keep your eyes peeled to The Mercury, The Examiner, The Advocate, Warp Magazine, Togatus, The Tasmanian Times and Aphra Magazine throughout October and get to know your local stars a little better.

The Falls Festival Foster Band Initiative is a way to shine the spotlight on sizzling local artists that have been causing a stir in venues across the state over the past few years. By casting their vote, music fans will give these local bands the opportunity to score on of the three paid slots on the Falls Festival line up via the Falls Festival website: www.fallsfestival.com

Voting opens October 1st and closes October 31st, with the winners being announced November 8th.

Meet our fabulous fostering media and the bands they have taken under their wings…
