Here come the Tall Ships … and the Old Sea Dogs
• FULLERS BOOK SHOP DISCUSSION
Come along to Fullers Bookshop in Hobart this Thursday at 5.00pm and meet some Old Sea Dogs in the flesh and a discussion about the book. If you’re lucky you might even get a crinkly salt encrusted smile out of some them, maybe a scowl!

My father and Kevin Hursey (pictured above) from Triabunna will be at the discussion. Kevin’s an expert on fishing for crayfish and abalone, both of them are not bad on the smiling, scowling and receipe side of things either.

The Tall Ships arrive in Hobart on Friday and the weather is looking great for the weekend so make sure you get down to the waterfront, should be a spectacular sight!
I have a joint stall with Smolt Restaurant in PW1 from Saturday till Tuesday. Smolt’s the only stall selling beer, so drop by if you’re in need of some delicious food and a pint of amber nectar.
Also, anyone with a Tall Ships Passport can purchase a copy of the book for $45 as a special festival offer.
