Australian Greens Leader Senator Christine Milne has congratulated Peter Whish-Wilson for his re-election as an Australian Greens Senator for Tasmania.

“I am absolutely delighted that Peter will be continuing on with my team in Canberra after being elected to the fifth Senate spot,” Senator Milne said.

“This is a real boost for Tasmania as after only a year he has already proven himself a rock solid defender of our environment and economy.

“Another six years of Senator Whish-Wilson will be another six years of superb Greens representation in Canberra for Tasmania.”
