A Getup campaign against Liberal policy on mainland Australia continues a long tradition of
dishonesty.
Getup is using a cropped photograph that is copyrighted to the Commonwealth and claiming
that the image shows World Heritage quality forest.1
Senator Richard Colbeck said Getup has cropped out a logging road and recently harvested
coup that is within the new boundaries – hardly World Heritage quality forest.
“Getup’s campaign shows how dishonest this whole process has been and how Getup
continues to mislead Australia.” Senator Colbeck said.
