What did Andrew Nikolic know … ?

Jennifer Jacomb, Secretary of the Victims Of Abuse In The Australian Defence Force Association, announced today:

Andrew Nikolic, like the rest of the Coalition Candidates, refused to take the pledge to:

• Provide better support and compensation to the victims of abuse in the Australian Defence Force

• Commit to the stamping out the abuse in the Australian Defence Force

• Protect those who come forward to report that abuse

We posted on his Facebook Page ( https://www.facebook.com/AndrewNikolic4Bass ) our questions about his refusal to take the pledge and how the abuse was still being perpetrated and weakening the Defence Of Australia.

He has refused to answer them.

It begs the question … Why does he fear our questions?

(They are questions) he must answer. But he refuses to let his electors know.

What does he know, but the electors don’t, but should?

Ms Jacomb said:

“Andrew Nikolic is clearly afraid of any questions on abuse in the Australian Defence Force. (He appears) to believe that victims should be treated with contempt.

“(Do all) victims of abuse in the Defence Force deserve to be raped, assaulted and abused?

“When he was questioned on this vital topic recently, he refused to answer and deleted the posts on Facebook. Like most Senior Army Officers, his approach (appears to be) to ignore it and hope it will go away.

“As a contemporary of Andrew Wilkie, it begs the question: What torture and abuse (was he aware of) at RMC Duntroon?

“Wilkie did!

“Given his deafening silence on this matter, it makes a very disturbing comment on him and his fitness for Parliament.”
