Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal returns to Hobart with the stunning dance performance Opal Vapour. Created across two countries – Australia and Indonesia – invoking classical Javanese court-dance instilled with the mystical influence of Indonesian trance-possession ritual. Opal Vapour is a mesmerising new contemporary dance work exploring deep connections between human origins and nature, rites of passage and embodiment in performance.
