A Plea for Help from Stawell Victoria
Until recently, my wife and I were pensioners enjoying our garden and the wooded landscape of “Big Hill” beyond our back fence. Now we find that there is a proposal to open-cut mine that hill for gold by a Canadian company called “Crocodile Gold” who own the local mine.
It appears our property will be about 100m from the open-cut and some of my neighbours even nearer.

No-one is an island and others have trodden similar paths. We did not think we would be activists but now, our circumstances have changed so any advice or assistance would be appreciated.
