The Tibetan “Flame of Truth” Global Torch Relay will be in Tasmania from Wednesday 19th September until Monday 24th September.
Long time Tibet supporter, Bob Brown, will be the first to sign the petition in support of all Tibetans living in Tibet when he attends the event to welcome the torch to Tasmania in Parliament House Gardens, Hobart from 12midday on Wednesday 19th September.
While the Torch is in Tasmania the focus will be on collecting as many signatures as possible to send with signatures collected from all around the world.
The petition will be presented by the Tibetan Government in Exile, to the United Nations on World Humans Rights Day, December 10th.
