At last, how to deal with those pesky varmints
If your farm is over-run with non-native pests, like cats, rabbits, starlings, skylarks or deer and you would like to know what weapons are available for your armoury, a roadshow at Campbell Town on June 14 should be just the ticket.
The Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) is bringing its PestSmart Roadshow to town for a once-only opportunity to pass on its knowledge about the problems of invasive animals and what farmers can do about them.
The roadshow, which is free, will showcase its PestSmart Toolkits, a national online collection of information on invasive species.
The CRC is presenting the roadshow in conjunction with Australian Wool Innovation and Meat and Livestock Australia.
It will be held at the New Grange meeting and function centre at Campbell Town on June 14 from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
People wishing to attend have to register for catering purposes at: www.feral.org.au/pestsmart/roadshow
