Australian Wool Innovation briefing
Will Australia be riding on the sheep’s back again?
All Tasmanian wool producers are invited to attend an Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) briefing at Kempton on Friday (November 25) to bring growers up to date with the research and marketing body’s latest activities.
AWI Chairman Wal Merriman told the recent annual general meeting that the national flock was beginning to rebuild and that global marketing campaigns had shown gains in demand for wool across key markets.
AWI’s industry relations manager Casey Dunn will provide the briefing at the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association’s wool council meeting at Huntington Tavern from 10.30 am to 11.30 am. The session is open to all wool producers.
AWI is owned by Australia’s 29,000 wool producers.
