The military and feminism
While a bullet in the head is a sure cure for PMS, I’m not confused about the military and feminism.
Being raised by a senior military officer on ‘defence’ bases, I had plenty of opportunity to decide that human rights should come ahead of military solutions under almost all circumstances.
Humans are not killing machines. Nor do military ‘solutions’ resolve matters in the longer term.
And while one would indeed be tempted to dispatch any sexists among the commanding officer corps about once a month … what woman really feels the need to take orders from anyone dull enough to think and act like a “grunt” for the duration of their military training?
Finally there is that little furphy of being considered equal to men if one behaves like a suicide robot amid civilians. Can you suspend your intellect that long??
What’s worse than one parent with post traumatic stress syndrome? Both parents with it.
“This one’s for the family?” I don’t think so.
