I note The Examiner has again chosen to disadvantage my campaign for election to the Launceston City Council by refusing to acknowledge my candidacy.
You have been informed in writing three times that I am standing.
Your editor has replied to my correspondence.
You have been informed your conduct is the subject of formal complaints to both the Press Council and LGAT.
Yet you continue your childish and grubby campaign of ignoring me.
I require The Examiner to publish formal correction and apology notices in tomorrow’s Examiner, and in all future coverage of election matters.
I look forward to reading more unbiased and factual coverage of local government elections in future copies of The Examiner.
Kind regards,
Tom Ellison
