Noon Sunday May 29, 2011
Adrian Halliday is our host on a tour of this cherry, apple and stonefruit orchard at Glaziers Bay. He will lead a walking tour and tell us the history of the farm, explain pruning and grafting methods and talk about future plans.
Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share at a picnic in a paddock with a 180-degree view of Huon River and Glaziers Bay. The historic packing shed is the alternative lunch venue if the weather is not so good.
Please also bring your own chair, cutlery and crockery (and wear appropriate shoes).
This is a free event but you do need to book. Children welcome. Please email [email protected] or phone Pam on 6228 0112, by Wednesday 25th May, to book Ask for directions to the farm when you book.
