Daniel Burt and Aleisha McCormack met as writers on The 7PM Project. They wrote a lot of news
jokes, drank instant coffee and had water cooler conversations about water. Then they quit.
Together, Daniel and Aleisha present He Says/She Says. 60 minutes of their words, spoken by
them. Daniel battles it out with know alls and Aleisha tackles repressed memories of school
billeting and struggles to decipher her grandfather’s cryptic Christmas letters.
Daniel Burt is an actor, writer and comedian whose credits and incredible talent are unique in
Australia. Among a host of achievements, Daniel has written for The Glass House, The Einstein
Factor and interned in the Writing Department of the Late Show with David Letterman.
Aleisha McCormack is a writer, MC and actor. She was a national finalist in Raw Comedy and is
known to television audiences throughout Australia as the regular roving reporter on Channel
Ten’s The Circle.
Both Daniel and Aleisha have performed at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival; Daniel in a sell-out season of his debut show ‘Yes Man Syndrome’, which is set to be turned into a book, and Aleisha in ‘Dead to Me’, her outstanding debut about being ditched at altar, 5 weeks before her wedding.
After sell out shows at The Butterfly Club, they will be returning for a 3 shows only in May, and
taking He Says/Shes Says on the road to Hobart in June.
