Ken Henry’s last official speech as Treasury Secretary
This Friday, 4 March 2011 at 5.30 pm the 2011 Giblin Lecture will be presented by Dr Ken Henry AC, the Secretary of the Australian Treasury.
His address is titled Australia 2011: Opportunities, Challenges & Policy Responses. Martin Wallace, the Tasmanian Treasury Secretary, will give the welcoming address. It will be followed by drinks at the University Club.
The lecture will be held at the Centenary Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Centenary Building, Grosvenor Crescent on the University campus in Sandy Bay. The Giblin lecture is held annually and is jointly hosted by the School of Economics and Finance and the Tasmanian Branch of the Economic Society of Australia.
You can RSVP on 6226 2308 (or just turn up on the day). The event is free (but RSVPs are welcome for catering).
This will be Dr Henry’s last official speech as Secretary of the Treasury and I encourage you all to attend.
