
ROYAL Hobart Hospital workers are no closer to knowing who their long-term boss will be after the Department of Health and Human Services yesterday named another acting chief executive for the Southern Tasmanian Area Health Service.
North-West Area Health Service chief executive Jane Holden will start a three-month term at the helm in the South next week.
Larraine Millar was previously acting in the job while Southern Health chief executive Michael Pervan is under investigation for allegedly inappropriate behaviour.
Mr Pervan has not been formally stood down as chief executive but is working as executive director of Community Development, Disability and Housing for the Department of Health and Human Services.
