2010 Glenorchy Carols by Candlelight,

Tasmania’s premiere permanent outdoor music venue, Tolosa Park plays host to one of Tasmania’s most popular community carol events on Saturday 11th Of December.
Join our Compere, popular ABC media personality, Peter Gee, with a great line up of local community and school choirs, guest vocalists and the Glenorchy City Concert Brass, as we celebrate Christmas with all of the old-time classic carols.
Glenorchy Carols by Candlelight will feature a great line up of entertainment for children and families, including special children’s entertainment by Makebelieve Entertainment and a visit by Santa, courtesy of JJ Promotions. More than 8 local choirs will be featured, including a heart warming performance capturing the true spirit of Christmas by The Choir of High Hopes, Hobart & the Tasmanian African Church Choir. Patrons will also enjoy and feature vocals from Rachel Taylor and Nicole Simms.
The Tolosa Park gates will open for the Concert from 6pm, with a full program of carols running from 7.30pm to 10pm. The event offers extensive on site parking as well as shuttle buses from the Glenorchy Bus Interchange from 6pm returning 10pm.
