The Tasmanian Greens today said that the latest EMRS poll is an indication that Tasmanians are willing to give the Greens’ involvement in a new power-sharing government an opportunity to deliver.
Greens Leader Nick McKim MP said that the poll shows that Tasmanians support politicians who are prepared to do what they can to deliver on the policies they took to the election.
“This is result is a heartening affirmation of our decision to take Cabinet positions, but we understand that it is early days and we still have a lot of work to do.”
“This poll shows that the community is prepared to give the power-sharing Parliament with Greens in Cabinet a go, and believe that it has the potential to deliver stability and good outcomes for Tasmania,” Mr McKim said.
