Thank you Ken. But how much is it costing us?
As Forestry Tasmania continues to lose taxpayer money, should we be paying for television series peddling propaganda that promotes an industry the majority of Tasmanians wish to see reformed? How much have these three series cost the taxpayer?
Here’s Helpful Ken, in full eulogistic mode:
Going bush for your next holiday?
With the new series of Going Bush kicking off this weekend, I thought I’d take a moment to let you know about the great prizes that you could win simply by watching the program.
As you’re already interested in state forests I don’t need to tell you that getting into our great Tasmanian outdoors is one of the best ways to recharge after a busy week. It’s one of the reasons I know you’ll be interested in our weekly prizes of a double pass to one of our Adventure Forest attractions: the Tahune AirWalk, Tarkine Forest Adventures, Hollybank Treetops Adventures or the Eagles Eyrie tour at the Maydena Adventure Hub.
All you need to do to enter is watch the program for the code word that will be shown each week, and enter here.
By entering the correct code word each week, you will also be included in a draw at the end of the series for family passes to all of the above attractions, as well as family accommodation at three great Innkeepers properties around the State. We’ve called this grand prize the Ultimate Tasmanian Adventure Forest Holiday, which I think really sums up the amazing experiences you could win.
We’re proud of the new series and I hope you can join us this weekend. Until then, I can let you in on a couple of the program highlights: you’ll see Nick and Andrew travel to Tassie’s wild west coast to visit some modern-day Huon Piners, and they’ll also join the irrepressible ultra marathoner Vlastik Skvaril on his epic push scooter ride from Darwin to Adelaide – all in the name of charity. Take a look here for a program preview.
And remember, you can also order your copy of Series Three of Going Bush by clicking here.
For the diary: Going Bush Series Three, Episode One: Sunday 28 March at 5pm on Southern Cross.
