Cyclists: Wrong picture. Wrong message!
While bums-up, heads-down lycra racers (below, HERE) have their place in the mix, what the discussion is about is safe cycling every day, everywhere, any time in any outfit. Like walking. Like car driving.
To create an impression of what that can look like consider the two attached pictures.
Oh, and please don’t side track the discussion about compulsory wearing of helmets or not. That’s a related topic, but for now let’s think about creating the every day cycling culture that seems to finally become a serious consideration around Australia.
