Sign of irresponsibility
Here’s Parks Tasmania slant on looking after visitors and employees in Mt Field National Park.
Under the heading General Warnings:
“Trees and Limbs may fall at any time and in any weather conditions” (Translation: if tree falls on you, too bad. You were warned)
“High winds may increase the likelihood of trees and limbs falling” (Translation: you have been warned a second time)
“The only way to avoid the risk is not to enter the forested area” (Translation: that’s your third and final warning. Keep out and don’t even think of suing us if a tree falls on you. Have a good day!)
