National Archives Office protest
The Federal Government has announced it’s intention to close the National Archives Office in Hobart to achieve cost-cutting goals.
This will mean Tasmanians will have poorer access to our unique historical records and be forced to pay excessive fees for the records we currently access for free.
The CPSU has organised a rally at 12 noon on Tuesday 23rd February outside the National Archives Office at 85 Macquarrie Street.
Please come along to show your support and tell our politicians we want to keep Tasmanian Archives in Tasmania
