In the face of such apathy I am gobsmacked
Thankyou to you and your readers for support and dusting me off when the brick walls were tough.I still cant beleive I was outbid by 1.5M…..
Today the average person in the street does not think twice for a few days away with a queen size bed, ensuite, parking, service, close proximity to where they wanna be…..so why oh why can’t people who are sick and dying or families of people who are sick injured and dying get this basic of basic needs?
I am truly stumped in 2010 there is no accommodation of this kind in a capital city of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Am I missing something here?
I feel this is a no brainer so why 2 1/2 years after Argyle Guest House closed we still don’t have this basic need?
AGH did not have ensuites but we were across the street from RHH and people forgave us.
We ran keys to wards 24/7.
We took walkups without social workers booking them in and sorted it on the following working day.
What has happened to the Australian spirit?
What has happened to decency?
In the face of such apathy I am gobsmacked.
