Dr Taylor has decided to talk to us seriously about these issues and has asked us for our defensible science (that is all science that has been through multiple laboratories). We will provide that information in the interest of environmental and public health.
Slater & Gordon are aware of this.
We have already provided some preliminary tests that have serious implications and Dr Taylor has responded (quite correctly) by putting in an activated carbon filtration system immediately.
I have made various recommendations to Dr Taylor regarding some available toxicology methods that would quickly give St Helens’ residents confidence in their water supply. These will need to be verified by our laboratories in terms of calibration.
We wish to sort this problem out quickly. It is not yet resolved how the investigation will be taken forward. Both parties have various suggestions.
