Sturgo and Michelle bat for Barty ... strewth, they are doomed! 4

The Infrastructure Minister, Graeme Sturges, says he remains confident Labor will win a majority at the March poll with Mr Bartlett as leader.

“There are certainly elements of the community that are expressing their dissatisfaction,” he said.

“We’ve dealt with some significant challenges just in my portoflio – we’ve had the issue of rail, the water and sewerage reforms are issues that we’re dealing with and I can assure you that David Bartlett has the absolute confidence of the Parliamentary Labor Party and the broader Labor Party,” Mr Sturges said.

The Tourism and Environment Minister, Michelle O’Byrne, agrees.

“People are telling me that they have a range of issues that they want us all to address and we as a Government need to respond to that and will do so.”

“There’s absolutely no intention of a leadership change the Premier and the Deputy Premier have the absolute support of this party,” said Ms O’Byrne.
