Olivia the Dancing Pig, live at Fullers, 10am on Saturday, November 28th

Olivia, the punky confident pig who believes she can do anything, will be at Fullers Bookshop at 10am on Saturday, November 28.

Olivia, who is the creation of New York based illustrator Ian Falconer, is an utterly charming, utterly energetic and utterly inspirational young pig and she is featured in a series of books suitable for children.

The event, which is a Fullers Ferret event, will also feature Olivia treats and Miss Cackle, the Ferret’s host, thinks it would be lovely if people dressed like Olivia (in red, black and white).

There will also be some competitions and prizes.

Dame Joan Sutherland, who is a very, very famous opera singer said “every granny will recognise and love her theatrical desires.”

Mikhail Baryshnikov, who si a very, very famous ballet dancer, said “Many dream of dancing on the stage, but Olivia has the legs for it.”

And

David Hockney, who is a very, very famous artists said “Olivia’s grasp of composition is extraordinary for a six year old.”
