Apparently plane trees like those in Fitzroy Place, Fitzroy Gardens, and Salamanca Place aren’t dying, despite appearances.
According to residents of Fitzroy Place, who had it from the Hobart City Council arborist, its fungal.
The cause was extra wet weather, followed by a sudden heat burst.
The next lot of leaves wont be affected.
It’s happened before, and presumably will again.
