A DECISION from the German- based company Wacker Chemie Ag on whether to build a North- West silica manufacturing plant is not expected before Christmas. Treasurer Michael Aird said yesterday the state remained well positioned to secure a potential investment worth hundreds of millions of dollars and hundreds of jobs in the North-West.
