Double back-flip with pike
David Bartlett’s water and sewerage announcement today is a massive double back-flip with pike.
It is not about Tasmanians’ cost of living, it is about Mr Bartlett’s election chances.
Make no mistake, if there was not an election in four months time, today’s announcements would not have been made.
Labor has been refusing for months to act on their flawed water and sewerage changes – and all of a sudden, after a bad poll result, they act.
We will examine the detail of today’s announcement, but based on the record of this government, we are not confident it will adequately address the very real concerns of Tasmanians.
Tasmanians will not be fooled – this is not about you, this is about David Bartlett.
