Alderman Elise Archer was elected Chairperson of the Hobart City Council’s Finance & Corporate Services Committee at last night’s full Council meeting. (The outgoing Chairman was Dr John Freeman, not re-elected at the recent local government elections).
Ald Elise Archer says she is “delighted to be elected by the Council to take on the role of Chairperson of this important and strategic council committee.”
Ald Elise Archer has been a committee member of this committee since she was elected to the Hobart City Council in 2007.

The other five Committee Chairpersons remain unchanged from the previous council as all were re-elected to these positions by the new Council last night. They are:
