Launch of 2010 RAA conference on Mon, Oct 12th, noon

Monday October 12that 12:00 noon. Design Centre, Tamar Street, Launceston

Who: Tasmania’s Minister for the Arts, Michelle O’Byrne, together with Steve Grieve, President of Regional Arts Australia and Lee Cole, President of Tasmanian Regional Arts.

The event will feature a special performance by the Indigenous Tasmanian Singer and Song Writer Dewayne Everettsmith

What: The event will launch the title, logo and website of the 2010 Regional Arts Australia National Conference. The event will also announce the key themes of the conference and call for expressions of interest for presenters and partners.

The 2010 Regional Arts Australia National Conference will be held in Launceston from 26- 29 August 2010 and is presented in partnership with Tasmanian Regional Arts and the host community Launceston.

Where: The announcement will be made at the Design Centre, Corner of Brisbane and Tamar Street, Launceston. Entrance on Tamar Street.
