Get the facts right

You know I just don’t get it, there seems to be two groups here claiming the high moral ground and that is just f—–g ridiculous.

We had Bob McMahon at one stage saying that they were about to arrest people , my first thought was NO WAY they can’t arrest us all if we just storm in ! and so I asked the head honcho (copper) who said no! that was not the case.

I had no inkling that there were a group who were dedicated to being arrested and when it was obvious that they were being so, I went back to Bob and said this not on , LETS ALL GO ! they cant arrest us all, at which point Bob offered me the mike and said here do you want to gee them up ! by then the paddy wagon was loaded and on the way out and I rushed across waving my arms and tried getting the crowd to block the entrance and stop the paddy wagon , as by then there was so much noise that the mike would not have been heard anyway.

Now I and a few others were first to confront the wagon also a lady with a walking stick and we succeeded in getting quite few to join us, but not everyone ! never the less we held them up for a considerable time and no one lost their temper !

So here we have two groups with similar mindset and no organisation or so it seems !

Perhaps the end result was worth it ! I dunno! what I realised later was, after relating the issue to a friend , was who the hell would have looked after my bike had I been arrested.

And to the expert at counting crowds, JUST MAYBE with those inside we may have totalled 500, my earlier estimate may have been a little on the light side.

I think it is important that we get the facts right after all AUSTRALIANS are so f—g lazy that if they reckon there is someone else will do
it they will stay home and watch the footy.
