The RSPCA Tasmania Annual General Meeting is at 10.00a.m. on 27.09.2009 in Launceston and we urge you to be there or to appoint a proxy
The RSPCA Tasmania Annual General Meeting for 2009 is on Sunday, September 29 at 10.00 a.m. at the Old Post Office, 68, Cameron Street, Launceston. If you are a financial member at 21 days before the AGM, we urge you to attend if you possibly can, because the RSPCA is struggling under its current board of management. If you cannot attend, please consider completing the proxy voting form:-
To have voting powers, you must have been a financial member before 21 days prior to the meeting.
We ask that you nominate either Nigel Burch or Suzanne Cass as your proxy for the AGM. The form must be in the hands of the CEO, Greg Tredinnick 48 hours prior to the meeting, so we ask you to do this as soon as possible, preferably by registered mail, to PO Box 463, Launceston, TAS 7250. You may also send it to Suzanne Cass, PO Box 252, Bridgewater, TAS 7030 and we will arrange for it to be delivered.
Alternatively, an email to greg@rspcatas.org.au AND gtredinnick@rspcatas.org.au, or confirmed facsimile to (03)6332 8299 has legal effect
The RSPCA is the only body, apart from some officers of DPIW, which has statutory powers under the Animal Welfare Act, so it is all the animals have. A poorly functioning RSPCA means they have nothing.
