Pull our troops out

Posted on

It is now crystal clear that the USA-led NATO’s occupation of Afghanistan has increased the Opium Poppy growing to an all time record harvest under the provision of crop security.

As a direct result of the Russian army having previously been expelled, the Taliban then completely rid Afghanistan of the Opium Poppy trade until the USA, seeing the vacuum and opportunity, led another invasion and occupation to profit from a re-established and super reinvigorated industry. President Khazi’s luxurious robes and political position are paid for with the drug money. The Taliban is not growing the drug, the common people of Afghanistan are and they wouldn’t be doing so if the USA wasn’t profiting from it and providing crop protection.

Australia, not being a member of NATO, obviously joined in to share in the profits from production of this drug at the invitation of G W Bush.

If the USA, NATO and Australia were honestly so against the drug being grown there, they would have sprayed the crops with Roundup long before they matured, end of story. The Taliban have nothing to do with USA’s presence, it’s all about drugs and money…again.

Same applies with Iraq. As long as oil is still coming out of the ground there, the occupation will continue.

Kevin Rudd must immediately stop our support of this illegal and immoral drug and oil trade and pull our troops out.
