Is this a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing?

Freedom of Information provided by Forestry Tasmania refutes L. James claim that, “…all burns are done in the autumn over about a six week period by Gunns and forestry.”

To compound the matter, L. James states, “Monitoring these burns is part of my job, so I have first hand knowledge to back my letter.” (Examiner letters Aug. 13 and Sept. 5).

Is this a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing?

Last year, the forest industry conducted more than 986 big burns between 28/3/2008 and 4/7/2008 and burning was still continuing long after the FOI date.
There was a short break before they commenced burning again in October and November. The details were placed on the forestry industries own burn website.

This is hardly green misinformation or bios as claimed, and is certainly more than the six weeks stated.

But since the matter of green was raised; all this smoky green forestry waste that is burnt over many months each year does produce toxins that make us all very sick, especially when it is linked to asthma and cancer for example, of which we have the highest rates in Australia.
