Labor’s serial cock-ups

Former Premier Michael Field’s endeavors to terrify the Tasmanian electorate (in his letter to the Mercury) into returning his friends and family to a majority government are as predictable as they are disingenuous.

It is time we saw Field and his “bruvvers” for who they really are; a sheltered workshop for ethically challenged individuals with operable ALP connections.

What other responsible government would have retained the services of Steve Kons, Bryan- not innocent- not guilty Green, not to mention incompetent goons like Brendon Best and Graeme Sturgess while using the resignations of Alison Ritchie and Paula Wriedt (over arguably lesser iniquities), to prove the Tasmanian ALP‘s integrity?

This government has delivered Tasmania with a decade of serial cock-ups over ministerial responsibilities and gross mismanagement, to the point of serious crises in both the health and education departments, a state public service which is surely one of the most politicized in the nation and a rotating front bench of individuals who are lucky to be on day release in our community.

Now, we’re supposed to be scared of a future without the Tasmanian ALP’s monopoly?

Will Mr. Field’s brother lose his job if Labor tumbles?

An ALP partnership with the Liberals or the Greens?

How terrifying!

Who is Michael Field kidding?

It’s time we recognize that the possibility of a hung parliament is not just a Greens issue.
