Labor: it looks bad

Yep. Which ever way you look at it… it looks bad. Disunity always looks bad. The Aird/Bartlett dichotomy emphasises a key point I made in my article Why Labor Will Lose in 2010: Why Labor will lose the 2010 election . That is voters who may have otherwise been optimistic about the young Bartlett are now seeing that he is just a different head on the same old body. Despite his younger look and his different style David Bartlett has failed to make any of the big ticket changes that he promised early on. Voters percieve that the reason for this is because he is hamstrung by his party (assuming one believes Bartlett wants to reform Labor’s agenda). Aird’s outburst will confirm this in people’s minds.
