Arresting peaceful protesters is far more important than nabbing bashers

WARNING —Please note an abundance of Tasmanian Police cannot be in the waterfront area in the wee small hours of Fridays and Saturdays AND in the vicinity of Parliament House during daytime on weekdays ( 23 Tasmanians arrested outside Parliament House ). If that were to be the case burn-out of the force would be evident.
Priorities will receive prompt attention. Criminal and dangerous activity including peaceful protests, cannot and will not be tolerated in the vicinity of Parliament House. Tasmania Police sworn duty is to protect the gentry of Tasmania at any cost.
For the remaining innocent by-passers to this House, be careful in the early hours of Friday and Saturday. If at all possible please avoid this area. It is impossible to patrol and sufficiently supervise this adjacent vicinity to Parliament House in those hours. This is due to workplace stress as a result of your fellow Tasmanian thoughtless and criminally acting citizens, during Monday to Friday.
