Dr Frank Nicklason
Dear Editor,
I got this message as a text at 8.27 last night, 1/5/09; ‘Still full of shit, frank and you cannot even get your facts right. Tosser’.

I got a similarly worded text from the same mobile phone number about 18 months ago. I rang back the fellow responsible, he said his name was Robert,
and gave him my email address and asked him to send me any information which refuted what I had said, written or quoted.

I had no response.

In my posting of 1/5 I had simply directly quoted from an information sheet which accompanied the salt and pepper grinder given to Mr Rudd. The sheet
was prepared by the woodcraftsman who made the item. I had been told by (a reliable source) that the figures quoted were from research commissioned by
Bob Gordon from Forestry Tasmania.

I would appreciate it if anyone who has alternative figures, which they understand to be accurate, especially if they can quote the source, could post the figures on Tasmanian Times.

PS. I am not sure how this fellow got my mobile number. I have not yet decided what to do about the texts, i.e. whether to pass the number on to police or not.

Frank Nicklason
