CFMEU: What about the mill closure, sacked contractors?
PETE GODFREY
I was a union member for many years and can say that I would resign from any union that carried out their business for the good of companies that sack hundreds of workers and are continually caught out lying. Shame on the CFMEU. I couldn’t believe it when their representative was on the pro pulp mill panel of the Difference of Opinion program. The project did not rate high enough in the companies minds to bother spruiking it themselves but sent the CFMEU and TCA stooges to do it for them. I haven’t heard much from either group over the Scottsdale mill closure or the contractors who have been sacked in the last few years. So why are they jumping through flaming hoops for the company, not the workers … ?
