Gunns: How many more jobs to go… ?

One wonders just how many jobs will go before the Pulp Mill is built. We could guess that at the best the Mill will replace all the jobs lost over the past couple of years. Take the 40 percent of forest contractors who have gone to the wall or as FIAT would have us believe were not efficient enough to be viable. Then the mill and workers at Scottsdale, the Hardware at Youngtown, and now the hardware at Deloraine. We could be led to believe that it is all because of the new beast in the guise of THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISES, or we could just put it all down to mismanagement and mis directed energies. Time will tell because we sure as hell won’t get the truth from either of the three major players.( the company, the government or Forestry Tas)
