“Green-Collar” Future – Tasmanian Action 1-1.30

The Prime Minister is meeting with Premiers from all states and territories THIS THURSDAY at the Wrest Point Casino. This important meeting will help form the political agenda of the states, territories and national political leadership.

Please come along to an action out the front of the Casino where we’ll be asking our political leaders to choose another future.

Across all the agenda items will be running the question of jobs and the economy. Come along and be part of a sea of ‘green collars’ – whatever issue you are passionate about, there is no doubt about the need for serious public investment in sustainability measures and innovations. We need a good crowd at Wrest Point to positively represent the vast majority of Australians who want real progress on sustainability.

To keep the action’s look clean and simple, it would be great if banners, placards etc are left at home for this action, and participants just have a green collar. This will be a novel image that may get us better media coverage. Green collars will be provided on arrival.

Our message is simple: Australia needs a ‘green-collar’ future.

The action will be short and sharp so you have time to get to and from the Casino in your lunch hour.

Meet at 1pm for a 1:10pm start. There will be a couple of speakers. The action will be complete by 1:30pm

Spread the word!
