To suggest that a society’s legal processes should operate on the basis that people can be charged and prosecuted when “legal actions brought against them are quite bogus” is the antithesis to democracy. It is, in fact, no less than an endorsement of political authoritarianism, and the elimination of all democratic rights. Read more, Comment here
