The spiteful energy of Labor

Just brilliant Garry. I was riveted. Thank you … it’s a power of quality writing. Such grubby notions preoccupy state ALP MPs and their staffers. They should be working for Tasmania and its people, not baselessly – and with such revealing, spiteful energy – against the Greens, who, might I say, ARE getting down and doing the work.

Stannus has shown the Greens to have been upright and super-transparent in their dealings with donations. Possibly its that amazingly honest quality that Parties of yesteryear simply cannot comprehend. The smear-campaign seems to have similarities to the good old M60 machine gun. If it fires in a prolonged and incautious manner it ‘cooks off’, can’t be stopped until its fully expended and even the bloke behind it has to run for cover with all his mates. Thankfully electronic newspapers can run detailed research as this on the public interest, otherwise we’d just never get to read it. Recently an article in The Oz flagged on-line media as the new messengers…and the Tasmanian Times is the pathfinder in this country.

I cannot believe that we have an institution, created over some hundreds of years by the best that evolution has to offer, an edifice for the growth of this precious state of ours, is overrun by educated halfwits that carry buckets of mud into the chamber and throw it around willy-nilly hoping that some will encrust and satisfy the schoolyard lust. And then I realise that this parlaiment of ours is nothing more than an organistaion run by school children from the obsequious nematodes that sit and gloat to the bullies who try to lift the girl’s skirts and push the weaker playmates into the ground, regardless of injury. Shame David Bartlett!
