COMMUNITY and environmental groups, TAP & The Wilderness Society respectively, have had anti pulp mill campaigns outside of Bass Labor MP Jodie Campbell’s office. It looks like Liberal Senator Richard Colbeck has fired the first shot in what perhaps is the beginning of an early election campaign. This flyer was delivered to letterboxes in the inner Launceston area last week.

Is Colbeck privy to knowledge of an early election in Bass or does Jodie’s fence sitting simply make her an easy target for a potential Liberal win? Is it a last hurrah to engage support for the pulp mill?

Either way, Jodie will have to ‘come out’ and declare as to which side of the fence she really is on. Bass needs to know.
