Despite this week’s police action in the Upper Florentine local Derwent Valley community members are going ahead with their planned “Summer Day in Your Forest” with walks, talks and a mini-twitchathon, starting at 11am – please see attached invitation (above). Let’s keep bring attention to the magnificent forests of the Upper Florentine – tell talk-back and the papers what you think – and let your local politicians know your opinion.
