Not sure if anyone noticed this media release by the Attorney General on Friday about FOI
( http://www.media.tas.gov.au/release.php?id=25708) including this comment in connection with a report just published on the DOJ website: “In mid December the Government brought together stakeholders at a forum to explore the current FOI Act and future directions as part of the consultation process”. Here is a post from my blog about the stakeholder forum, report, attendance at which, from the distance of Sydney, looked decidedlyt one-sided.
